Here are some of the results achieved by our consultants.

Case 01

Road Infrastructure Development (Philippines)

We provided consulting services to the government for a large-scale road infrastructure development project led by the Philippine Department of Public Works and Highways, with support from the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The project aims to alleviate traffic congestion in Metro Manila, improve north-south connectivity with faster and safer transportation, and promote economic development in the areas surrounding Laguna Lake.

Case 02

Support for Overseas Expansion of Japanese Company (Philippines)

As part of a JICA Public-Private Partnership project, we supported a project formulation study conducted by a disaster prevention construction company based in Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture. The study focused on introducing the unique slope disaster prevention technology in the Philippines that integrates both forest conservation and slope reinforcement. Following the completion of the study, we continue to provide advisory support to facilitate the company’s business entry into the Philippine market.

Case 03

Procurement and Construction Management in the Water Supply Improvement Project (Nicaragua)

In a JICA Grant Aid project aimed at ensuring a stable water supply in Managua through leakage reduction and improved energy efficiency, our consultant was responsible for on-site construction supervision. Working in coordination with relevant stakeholders, including the Nicaraguan Water and Sewerage Company (ENACAL), we played a pivotal role in ensuring success of the project―supervising the procurement of essential equipment and the execution of critical construction works to drive its effective implementation.

Case 04

Educational Support through Educational IT (EdTech) (Pakistan)

We participated as external experts in a preliminary study commissioned by JICA to an EdTech company based in Tatsuno City, Hyogo Prefecture. The study focused on introducing e-learning tools to support self-paced study for diploma attainment in Pakistan. Through this initiative, we contributed to advancing the digitalization of education in Pakistan’s technical eduation institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Subsequently, we facilitated joint pilot activities between Japan and Pakistan, spearheading the first-ever integration of an e-learning system at a local teacher training institute—paving the way for future advancements in education.

Case 05

Supporting the Education of Children with Foreign Roots

To support children with foreign roots living in Japan to overcome language barriers and understand academic content in their native languages, we have been translating “Multilingual Mathematics Content” (https://www.kurodalab.jp/tmc/), developed by the Professor Yasushi Kuroda’s laboratory at Kyoto University of Education, into Dari—one of the official languages of Afghanistan. Additionally, we welcomed international students from Afghanistan as interns at our company. The interns contributed to the trial translation and provided analysis and policy recommendations on educational challenges faced by children with foreign backgrounds.

Case 06

Support for Learning Japanese

We are developing an e-learning program that enables Pakistani workers to prepare for working in Japan to learn Japanese in Urdu, the national language of Pakistan. Since Japanese learning materials in Urdu are extremely limited and native Japanese language teachers are scarce in the region, this initiative aims to provide more people in Pakistan with access to practical Japanese conversation skills.

Additionally, as an Executive Member of the Pakistan Japan Socioeconomic Association, we actively contribute to the promotion of Japanese language education in the country.

Arrangements of Business Tours to Japan from Overseas (Kyrgyzstan)

We organized and managed a study tour for business executives from Kyrgyzstan, arranging facility visits, company tours, and lectures by subject matter experts. We hosted a business delegation from BTCA, which included participants from the IT, finance, apparel, and other sectors, as well as a delegation of construction executives from JIA (the Kyrgyz Business Association). Through these activities, we contributed to strengthening economic exchange between the two countries. (Photo: A visit to the Recycling Plant of Ishizaka Inc., Saitama Pref.)
